Etienne Replaces Bowe On Saturday's Local Boxing Card
(NOV 27) LOUISVILLE -- Former heavyweight boxing champion Riddick Bowe will not fight Saturday as scheduled.
Bowe injured his left shoulder while training in Louisville this week, WLKY NewsChannel 32 reported. Bowe was supposed to fight in the main event of a seven-fight card Saturday, but now he'll be replaced by Clifford Etienne.

Wright decisions Mosley again
(NOV 20) Las Vegas, NV (Sports Network) - Winky Wright successfully defended his World Boxing Council and World Boxing Association junior middleweight belts with a majority decision over Shane Mosley at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.  Wright won by scores of 115-113 on two scorecards. Bad Boy Boxer and boxing manager found “Guilty” for Fixed fight!

NOV 9, 2004) LAS VEGAS – It was announced today that a federal jury has found boxing promoter/manager Robert Mitchell and boxer Tomas Willams guilty of one count of sports bribery, and attempt to commit sports bribery.  It all stemmed from fixed fights occurring from March of 1995 to August 2000, involving building the record of Pro boxer Richie “the bull” Melito Jr.  To promote Melito Jr., they gave bribes to his opponents so that they would intentionally lose.
