Ali Celebrates 65th
Birthday
Legendary boxer MUHAMMAD ALI was honoured by his friend BILLY CRYSTAL on his
65th birthday last night (17JAN07). The former heavyweight champion was
watching Crystal perform at Arizona State University when the comedian
called him up onstage. Ali was then given a standing ovation for one minute,
while Crystal's wife JANICE brought out a birthday cake. Crystal told
the crowd, "He's been a truly great friend to me and a great friend to the
world. Please join me in singing happy birthday to the greatest senior

Tapia announces Final Furry retirement fight!
(JAN 18) Five-time former World
Champion and living legend Johnny (MI Vida Loca) Tapia 55-5-2 28 KO’s, held
a press conference on Wednesday, January 17 to announce his final fight. The
fight will be held at Isleta Casino and Resort in Albuquerque, NM on
February 23, 2007. Tapia, already a lock for the Boxing Hall of Fame, lost
his last fight in September of 2005 and refuses to end his career with a
defeat. He will take on IIido Julio 33-10-1 29 KO’s.
