(FEB 15) Today, the weigh-in for the all-women's card took place at the Harrah's, in North Kansas City, Missouri.  Hollie "Hot Stuff" Dunaway (14-4, 9 KO’s) will be making a title defense against Melissa "Haymaker" Shaffer (8-2, 5 KO’s) in the main event Dunaway will be defending her  WIBA minimum weight title.  Dunaway, weighed in at 99 lbs.  Shaffer came in at 98 lbs.   Retired IFBA World champion, Kim "Fireball" Messer is part of Shaffer's team and was on hand at the weigh-in.  More

Coroner: Boxer's death linked to blow to head By MATT LEON   (FEB 6) SARATOGA SPRINGS -- The death of a 28-year-old Queensbury boxer after a sparring session last week was likely the result of a brain injury brought on by the sport he loved, a Saratoga County coroner said Monday.  Coroner Thomas Salvadore said initial autopsy results indicate Richard J.
