Friday night at the Target Center in Minneapolis,
Travis Walker won a 10-round split decision over
George Garcia, winning the IBA Americas Heavyweight

Calzaghe Wins 20th Defense

boxing fans, Joe Calzaghe, 35 years old, successfully made a
20th defense of his WBO super middleweight title. Calzaghe stopped
Peter Manfredo Jr., of the United States in the third round. According to
news sources, Calzaghe threw a barrage of combinations to force the ref to
stop the fight.

Springfield, Missouri, in a one-side bout, Joshua
Clottey won a 10-round unanimous decision over Diego
“Chico” Corrales. Clottey dominated Corrales, and
