(APR 26) I finally found "A Ring of Their Own". It took me almost as
long as it took the sport of Women's boxing to get it's own TV show.
The problem of female boxers getting TV exposure has been well
documented, but in my case the problem of finding "A Ring of Their
Own" was directly related to the fact that it is being broadcast in

Monday Evening. He was more than a figure on the sporting scene in

night, at the Caesars Palace outdoor arena, in Las
Vegas,
Nevada, Sugar Shane Mosley, fighting as a welterweight won over
David Estrada with a unanimous decision. There were over 5,000
boxing fans in the sold out event. News sources reported that it too
two rounds for Mosley to warm up against Estrada, but once he did he
showed his quickness and slick boxing skills.

April 19, 2005, at the Hermann-Wielandner-Halle, in
Bischofshofen, Austria, Super Featherweight Ina Menzer, 129,
of Aachen, Germany, won a six-round unanimous decision
over Slovakian Jarka Blahova, 129 1/2. Final Judges scores
were 60-54. Menzer remains undefeated at 7-0-0 (3KO), and Blahova
suffered her first loss, now 2-1-0.

signed amateur boxing sensation Roger Cantrell to a promotional
contract, BHP President, Brian Halquist announced today. “Cantrell
