FIGHT NIGHT AT THE ROSE GARDEN III -TOP-20 HEAVYWEIGHT JEREMY WILLIAMS ADDED TO CARD; TICKETS GET HOT!

(JAN 21) Oscar De La Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions and Portland’s Razor Sharp Productions today announced the addition of Heavyweight Jeremy Williams to the fight card for Fight Night at the Rose Garden III, presented by Spirit Mountain Casino. The heavyweight 10-round main event featuring Williams, currently ranked #15 in the world by the WBC, replaces the previously scheduled bantamweight main event.

The event will be held at 7:00 PM on January 30, 2003 in the Rose Garden arena. Lower level tickets, starting at $15, are on sale now at all Ticketmaster locations. Williams, from North Hills, California, has a record of 39-4 with 35 knockouts, and has won his last four bouts. On Sept. 29 in Lemoore, Calif., Williams stopped Gilbert Martinez in the ninth round; on June 7 at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas he took a 10-round decision over Ron Guerrero; on April 21 in Laughlin, Nev., he anchored David Bostice in the first round; and on March 17 in Oroville, Calif., he halted Louis Monaco in the first. Jeremy Williams may have the most unique nickname in boxing, "Half-Man, Half-Amazing."
