Brian Halquist started promoting pro-boxing in 1989. In 1997 he started the
popular "Battle at the Boat" boxing series at the Emerald Queen Casino. On
January 9, 2010 the series celebrated its 75th show. The series is one of the
longest running at any casino in the United States. Halquist has been an
associate promoter of Playboy Boxing at the Playboy Mansion in Beverly Hills.
HBO, Showtime, ESPN, Direct TV, Azteca, Univision, Telemundo and Fox Sports

I am a female boxer, i have been boxing for 9 yrs. I haven't had a lot of fights
due to lack of a manager, promoter, and/nor the opportunity to expose my talent

fights winning approx 75. in February 2007 I held my first professional boxing
show at the city hall Cork. This was followed by my second show in august 07, at
the same venue. in January 08, I signed my first professional fighter Cuban
heavyweight Ismaikel Perez. He was gold medalist in 04 world junior
championships. He is better known as Mike 'the rebel' Perez. Mike has attracted
enormous attention winning his first 4 fights, 3 by ko and as his career gathers
more momentum my plan is to promote more great boxing nights in Cork city.
