Edgar Sosa retains his WBC

(JAN 10) On Sunday night, Edgar Sosa
started with the right foot in 2012. The 'Little Giant' is back after
defeating the filipino Roilo Golez by TKO in round 7 at the Polanco
Forum of Mexico City. The next match for Sosa could be against
Wilbert Uicab from Yucatan Mexico next March 31 in a elimination bout
for the WBC flyweight crown.
In the co-main event, Ramon “Niņo de Oro”
(Golden Boy) Ayala, beat Carlos Velazquez from Nicaragua by split
decision after 10 rounds in the lightweight division. The fight was
tougher than expected for the Mexican fighter, which use his experience
to win the fight.
