fight headlines eight bout card
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – June 25, 2009 – Dee Lee Promotion and GNP Boxing
announced the return of live championship boxing to Resorts Casino Hotel
in Atlantic City on Friday, July 31.
Headlining the hard-hitting fight card will be Camden Royalty PRINCE-BADI
AJAMU "Dancing Prince" (26-3-1/15 KO’s) taking on DALLAS "Deaf Pride"
VARGAS (22-4/16 KO’s) of Toledo, Ohio in a 12 round N.B.A. Light
Heavyweight Title Fight.
The N.B.A. Light Heavyweight Crown will be on the line when these two
step into the ring to show Atlantic City a true light heavyweight war!
Both of these brawlers have seen some serious competition ( Roy Jones
Jr. and Montell Griffin) Now we’re looking to see If Prince keeps his
Crown.
The Co-Main event in an 8 bout card features Heavyweight -Timur Ibragim
ov (24-2-1/13 KO's) coming off a win in Russia.
The exciting undercard features a host of Atlantic City natives, as
several skilled young fighters get another chance to showcase their
pugilistic prowess after displaying their quickness and power at
Atlantic City Boardwalk Hall in May 2009.
This young talent includes; Super Flyweight Qaid Muhammad (4-0/4 KO’s);
Light –Heavyweight Lavarn "Baby Bowe" Harvell( 3-0), Super Middleweight
Joel De La Paz (2-0/1 KO); Super-Middleweight -Eugene Soto (1-0);
(light-Heavyweight) Pedro Sandana (1-0), a rising female Featherweight-
Amanda Serrano (2-0), and exciting (Super-Middleweight) Gabriel"Gabby"
Phan of Pleasantville making his Pro-debut.
This event will be held in the Superstar Theater, located on the Dining
Level at Resorts Casino Hotel. Doors open at 7:30 pm, with the first
