(FEB 16) World amateur boxing chiefs AIBA today announced that Korea would host the AIBA 2011 World Senior Championships. The announcement was made at this afternoons AIBA Executive Committee meeting in Milan. The tournament, which will act as one of the qualifiers for the 30th Olympiad in London in 2012, will be held in Busan city. Founded in 1911, the Irish Amateur Boxing Association had bid to host the 2011 event in Dublin on its centenary year.
