Action: Border City Boxing Club has two in the finals

(JAN 24) Border City sent two boxers to
the 2009 Senior Canadian Boxing Championships in Trois-Rivieres, QC and
two will compete in the finals tonight. In his third bout of the
tournament Josh Cameron defeated Mian Hussain of Quebec by a score of
4-1. Josh will face Custio Clayton of Nova Scotia in the final.
Alison Hunter defeated Brandy Badry of
Alberta by a score of 8-2 advancing her to the final against Amanda
Galle of Ontario. Both athletes are working hard to capture their first
Senior National Title. Josh won the Nationals as a Junior at the
Canadian Games and Alison has captured several Provincial titles and
hopes to win her first National Title. Good Luck Team!
