Bryant Pappas to
fight in Arkansas
January 12, 2009
(JAN 12) On January 31, 2009, Bryant
Pappas will be boxing in Paris, Arkansas as part of an event which is
helping to raise money for Autism Awareness! The proceeds of the show
will be going to Bryant's manager, Stacy Goodson, whose two sons have
Autism. The money will be used in order for one of Mr. Goodson's sons to
undergo a new technique involving a stem cell transplant, which not
available in the U.S., which being used (with success) in South America.
As usual Bryant will also be donating his purse to Memorial Sloan
Kettering Cancer Center, to fund exciting new research in the field of
Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma. The research is being headed by the Chief of
Lymphoma Services, Dr Andrew Zelenetz.
A number of Yonkers Police Officers, as well as Bryant's family are
making the trip down to support him.
Even if you can't make it, please consider a donation to either
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (tell them it is for Dr. Andrew
Zelenetz's research) or Autism Awareness in order to help Mr. Goodson's
sons- koautism.com)
Bryant will hopefully be back to fight in New York on another exciting
card promoted by Star Boxing at the end of February! Source: Press
