the Mijares vs. Darchinyan bout

(OCT 13) Today at 11:30 a.m., PST, at the
El Paseo Inn, in Los Angeles, California, a press conference will be
held for the upcoming boxing event featuring WBA and WBC Super Flyweight
Champion Cristian Mijares vs. IBF Junior Bantamweight Champion Vic
“Raging Bull” Darchinyan.
Mijares and Darchinyan will hold a press conference to announce their
highly anticipated 115-pound title unification fight on Saturday, Nov. 1
live on SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING from The Home Depot Center in
Carson, Calif.
The world championship fight is the first time that all three major
115-pound titles will be up for grabs in the same ring. In 1997, Johnny
Tapia outpointed rival Danny Romero to unify their two titles while
Mijares won a decision against Alexander Munoz to unify two belts on May
17, 2008.
Tickets are on sale and are priced starting at $25 to $250 for ringside.
