(MAY 12) In the highly
anticipated Middleweight match up, cross town rivals Derrick "Superman"
Findley (11-2-0, 6 KOs) and "The Contender's" Miguel "Macho" Hernandez
(20-8-0, 10 KOs) did battle in an eight round bout this past Friday at the
Cicero Stadium in Cicero, IL. Hernandez known from his appearance on the
third season of the boxing reality show "The Contender" looked to put on a
show for his hometown crowd. "Superman" Findley looking to spoil Hernandez's
plans came out like never before engaging Hernandez right from the first
round, throwing the straighter and more crisp punches Findley seemed to find
his opponent at will and snapped Hernandez's head back with blistering
one-two combinations. By the fourth round Findley caught Hernandez with a
one-two combination that made blood pour profusely from his nose. After
inspection by the doctor of the bloodied Hernandez the fighting commenced.
After eight rounds of onslaught the judges scored the bout 79-73 and 80-72
twice all in favor of Findley.

When asked about Findley's
performance One In A Million, Inc. President/CEO Octavius James said, "We
are just absolutely thrilled with Derrick's performance, he is a young man
that is dedicated to his profession. Derrick always trains hard and is
willing to fight anybody that will get in the ring with him, stepping up to
fight a next level fighter like Miguel just displays the heart that Derrick
possesses and his performance showed tremendous improvement in all aspects
of his ability. This fight lets the Chicagoland and Indiana fans know that
when "Superman" steps in the ring that fireworks are going to happen and
they don't want to miss it. It makes me proud to have a young man like this
as part of team and you can definitely count on seeing even bigger things
for Derrick in the near future."
