Weights From Wigan, England

(DEC 7) Today Frank Maloney and Steve Wood
held the official weigh-in for their shared promotion taking place tomorrow,
Saturday, December 8 at Robin Park Centre in Wigan, England. For the vacant
British light middleweight championship, Gary Woolcombe scaled 153 lb (10st
13) while Marcus Portman weighed 152 lb 5 ounces (10st 12 and 5 ounces).
For the vacant British super flyweight championship, Jamie McDonnel tipped
the scale at 114 lb even (8st 2 lb) ) as did Chris Edwards.
Commonwealth welterweight champion Ali Nuumbembe registered 146 lb 5 ounces
(10st 6 and 5 ounces) as did challenger Craig Watson.
For the vacant Commonwealth bantamweight championship, Jason Booth came in
at 116 lb 14 ounces (8st 4 and 14 ounces) while Matt Edmonds weighed 117 lb
6 ounces (8st 5 and 6 ounces)
