The Cisneros/Gonzalez title bout headlines BAD BLOOD, another evening of
world class professional boxing presented by 8 Count Productions, HOME
OF THE BEST IN CHICAGO BOXING along with TCF Bank, Miller Beer and Aero
Mexico.
Said Pesoli, “This should a terrific bout, both of these guys are big
punchers who love to fight and it should be an outstanding battle for
Chicago fight fans.”
The 26 year old heavy handed Cisneros, 10-2 (9KO’s) is coming off two
devastating knockout victories in the last 10 months since his war with
Norberto Bravo on The Contender, Season 2.
The equally hard hitting Gonzalez, 9-1 (8KO’s) has won eight in a row,
seven by knockout and is coming off a six round knockout of undefeated
Tim Connors on July 14th in St. Louis.
The terrific undercard for BAD BLOOD is headed by the long awaited
return of “IRISH” Mike Nevitt, 15-1 (5KO’s) who will be featured in a
six rounder light heavyweight bout. Nevitt is looking to climb back into
the world rankings after his war with Otis Griffin this past April.
In a special attraction, Chicagoan Jaime “Superfly” Sandoval, brother of
former two division world champion Jesus Chavez, will battle in a six
rounder in the lightweight division. Sandoval, 14-2 (12KO’s), had won
six in a row until dropping a hotly contested majority decision to
Johnnie Edwards this past May.
Highly regarded, undefeated middleweight prospect, Victor “The Ukrainian
Tiger” Polyakov, 5-0 (4KO’s) will also appear in a six round bout.
Rounding out the undercard is cruiserweight newcomer Deividas Nekrasas,
3-0 (3KO’s) who has impressed Chicago fight fans with his stunning power
since turning professional earlier this year.
Much more information on this action packed evening will be announced
shortly.
