(JULY 25) Dmitriy Salita is challenging
newly-crowned WBA super lightweight champion Gavin Rees - "I'll fight
you anytime, any place or anywhere!"
Rees recently upset Souleymane M'Baye to win the WBA crown, he is
unbeaten in 27 bouts as a pro.
"I'd love to fight him for the belt in Madison Square Garden, that would
make history. I am, however, willing to fulfill my American dream of
becoming a world champion in England. I will make all of my fans proud
and my critics eat their words," said Salita.
Salita is ranked #3 with WBC, and is
unbeaten in 28 fights as a professional |
