Hernandez Wins by KO

Venezuelan featherweight Rafael "Jibarito"
Hernández
dropped Colombian domestic champion Walter Estrada in round two in the
main event of the boxing card that has organized Cuadrilatero Promotions
on Friday night at the Elias Chegwin Colisseum in Barranquilla,
Colombia.
Hernandez had surprised Estrada with a
right
cross to the chin. Estrada laid on the canvas for more than 10 minutes.
Southpaw Estrada, a former WBO
featherweight contender fell to 34-4, 22 KOs.
In other boxing action, rated WBO light flyweight
Cesar Canchila KO´d Wilson Wortina in first round. Canchila improve to
24-1,19 KOs. Former WBO flyweight contenderWalberto Ramos won a
six-round unanimous decision over Nelson Cantero. Former Olympěan
southpaw Likar Ramos (14-2, 11 KOs) knocked-out in first round to
Armando Velasquez. Unbeaten super lightweight Breidis Prescott (14-0, 14
KOs) won a ten-round unanimous decision over Dunis Linan (12-9-1, 9
KOs). Panamanian welterweight Azael Cossio (7-0, 5 KOs) was stopped in
first round to local Freddy Barrios. Unbeaten featherweight Daulis
Prescott won a six-round split decision over
Dioberto Julio. |
