THE
RIOT goes toe to toe with Fight night at the Tank-Press conference Weds.

Productions takes off the gloves and challenges Fight Night to raise the
bar. "It's staggering how many San Jose boxing fans are disenchanted
with local 'live" shows in recent years, and by presenting THE RIOT
Saturday, July 14th, a new standard will be set," promises promoter and
matchmaker Jerry Hoffman. After 15 years of packed houses in Santa Cruz
and Monterey, THE RIOT arrives at the San Jose Civic Auditorium.
"I will outline my plan for future shows in San Jose" says Hoffman, at
our 1pm press conference this Wednesday at the Crowne Plaza
Hotel-downtown San Jose next to the Civic at San Carlos and Almaden.
Main event fighters Jesus "Chuy" Rodriguez (14-2, Salinas) and Hector
"The Mongoose" Alatorre (14-1 Fresno) will be on hand, plus San
Francisco female sensation Cynthia Talmadge, San Jose's Maurice Slade,
and Salinas hot prospect Eloy Perez (8-0). |
