  Irish Senior Squad for Poland Named..By Bernard O'Neill

(MAR 5) THE Irish Amateur Boxing Association today (Match 5th) named a six man squad for the Felkis Stamm Senior Multi Nations tournament which will take place in Poland later this month.

Ken Egan, Darren Sutherland, Aodh Carlyle, John Joe Joe, David Oliver Joyce, and Conor Ahern will be in the ring in Warsaw between March 20th and 25th.

Meanwhile, a nine man Irish senior team, containing the six boxers selected for the Polish Multi Nations, departs for Croatia this Wednesday for the Zlatko Hrbic Memorial Multi Nations which glove off in Zagreb on March 7th before concluding four days later.

A six man junior squad has also been named for the Danas Pazniakas Junior Multi Nations tournament which will be hosted by Lithuania.

The Irish squad will be competing against up to ten other nations in Vilnius between March 14th and 19th.
