Santos Successfully Defends his title...By Kevin Bello

(FEB 25) Mexican boxer Cecilio ¨Boga ¨ Santos successfully defended his Latin title WBO (115Lbs), this week at the Micosoukee Resort and Gaming, in Miami, Florida. Santos defeated Colombian Luis ¨Surtigas ¨ Melendez, by a technical decision in the eleventh round.

Santos suffered a wound in his right eye, which forced the referee to stop the action of the combat, and the cards of an unanimous way declared the Aztec a winner for decision of 107-102, 108-101 and 107-102.¨
