MOORE WIN IN BARBADOS!

(JAN 1) Guyanaese Leon "Up
Harry" Moore scored a fifth round TKO over Guyanaese Linden Arthur last
Saturday night in a boxing card that was promoted by Samuel Layne in
Barbados. Arthur's replaced Mexican Moises Zamudio, who had
difficulty obtaining his Visa.
Moore, 23-year-old, is back in the ring, after he had a
controversial lost and majority decision against former IBF flyweight
champion Irene "Mambaco" Pacheco in Barranquilla, Colombia.
On the undercard, former Olympian two-times Marcus
"Marvelous" Thomas local Ricardo "The Bomber" Kellman won a ten-round
decision and claim the WBC Cabofe light heavyweight title. Local
welterweight
Christopher "Shaka" Henry scored KO in three rounds
over Barrington Cambridge of Guyana.
Teenage sensation welterweight local
Miguel "Hands of Stone" Antoine scored a TKO in first round over
Shurwyne "The Mauler" Marshall.
Local featherweight John "The Hammer"
Trotman won in four rounds over Muhammad Dawes of Jamaica.
Debutant Selwyn Lettrose won a four-round decision over Malcolm "Joe
Smoking" Smith. |
