Tommy Morrison, to fight
in January?..By

Philadelphia
– Tommy Morrison is planning to fight, the first week of January
somewhere in Mexico, a source told The Philadelphia Boxing Report. His
attorney Randy Lang could not be reached for comment.
Morrison, who co-starred in ROCKY 5, and is the grand nephew of Marion
Morrison (John Wayne), had tested positive for the HIV virus in 1996,
and was forced into retirement. Over the past two years, Morrison has
claimed to be HIV free. Published reports say otherwise, but Morrison
claims that no one he has had relations with, is positive, and that he
is 100% healthy. Morrison’s ex-wife has claimed that he is
HIV positive, earlier this year in a published report.
When asked earlier this year if he would fight soon, he replied,
“If I do, it may be in Canada, Mexico, or Japan. I
would like to get my license, right here in Arizona.”
