Prescott Retains Title

(DEC 16) Local former Olympian Breydis Prescott, (14-0, 14KOs)
scored a fourth round knockout over Venezuelan challenger Erwing
Romero and retained his WBC Fecarbox super lightweight title in the
main event of the boxing card that was organize by Cuadrilatero
Promotions Friday night at the Municipal Colisseum of Valledupar,
Colombia.On the undercard,
rated minimumweight Cesar Canchila, (16-1, 16 KOs) won by a sixth
round knockout over Venezuelan Darwin Zambrano.
Former WBO featherweight contender
Walter Estrada (33-3, 31 KOs) KO"d Diego "Rocky" Martinez, in the
third round.
Colombian welter champion Raul Pinzon (12-0, 12 KOs) scored a
third round knockout over Elias Ruiz (5-11), and prospect
Daulis Prescott (minor brother of Breydis) obtain an easy first
round knockout over Juan Martinez in the featherweight division.
Daulis improve to 2-0, 2 KOs. |
