Official Weigh-In for Dec. 9 Boxing Event Scheduled for Friday, Dec. 8 -
Noon at Champps Fair Oaks
Official weights will be recorded for boxers on the Dec. 9 Patriot
Center card. Fans are invited to attend this event and gather
autographs/photographs from participants. Boxing Fans are invited.
Present: All boxers, including Main Event headliners JIMMY LANGE and
FONTAINE CABELL. Special Guests:
Legendary trainer ANGELO DUNDEE (Lange cornerman), “First Lady of
Boxing” JACKIE KALLEN (Lange advisor), Former world champion PERNELL
“SWEET PEA” WHITAKER (Spivey trainer)

EVENT:
Local fan favorite JIMMY LANGE (27-3-1, 19 KOs) of Great Falls, VA, will
battle Puerto Rican native FONTAINE CABELL (22-6-1, 17 KOs) from
Altamonte Springs, FL, for the WBC CONTINENTAL AMERICAS JR. MIDDLEWEIGHT
CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE in the 12-round Main Event Dec. 9 at the Patriot
Center. Lange, who headlined the first three live pro boxing events at
the Patriot Center which averaged nearly 5,000 fans per show, has helped
generate a renewed enthusiasm and excitement for the sport.
