MIKE GONZALEZ BATTLES AT CICERO CHILL THIS FRIDAY

Undefeated lightweight prospect Mike Gonzalez battles this Friday night, November 10th at CICERO CHILL in a scheduled six round bout against Marcus Brashears.

CICERO CHILL, an outstanding evening of world class professional boxing, is presented by Dominic Pesoli’s 8 Count Productions, HOME OF THE BEST IN CHICAGO BOXING and Oscar De La Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions along with Miller Lite and TCF Bank.

The eight bout CICERO CHILL event, broadcast internationally on SOLO BOXEO De Miller, takes place at Cicero Stadium, located at 1909 S. Laramie, just minutes from the Eisenhower and Stevenson Expressways. Doors for this event will open at 5:30pm with the first bell at 6:30pm. Tickets, starting at $30, are on sale in advance by calling 312-226-5800.

Gonzalez, a native of Bayamon, Puerto Rico, now fighting out of Milwaukee, WI, has quickly developed a reputation as a hot prospect in the lightweight division with his spectacular performances in his first eight bouts, none of which have gone the distance.

Most recently, Gonzalez thrilled the packed house at the Par-A-Dice Casino in Peoria, IL with a second round knockout of Donnell Logan on September 1st.

Brashears, of Amarillo, Texas, 4-2-1 (2KO’s) is coming off a unanimous decision win over Alejandro Lozano on June 29th in Highland, CA.

Said Pesoli, “Mike gets better each time out. He’s learned a great deal in his eight wins and he truly has excelled at closing the show when he has an opponent hurt. He’s a true professional, always in shape and ready to fight and our fans love his warrior spirit.

Brashears is a very solid guy with wins over very good fighters. This should be a terrific matchup."
