"Chino"
Benavides Returns Friday

(AUG 17) After more than one yearr of inactivity veteran Colombian
boxer Luis "Chino" Beavides will return to the local ring. Benavides,
35-year-old from Monterìa, Colombia will be back this Friday when he
faces Evaristo Valdez in a six-rounder bout in Lorica, Colombia.
"Chino" Benavides is a former fighter with
recognized promoters as Mexican Ricardo Maldonado, Venezuelan Ramiro
Machado, Cuban Felix "Tuto" Zabala, Colombian Hernan Gomez, between
others.
In his vast career he fought against good opposition that includes:
former IBF Flyweight champion Francisco "Spider" Tejedor, curren UBC
Flyweight champion Pedro "Torito" Rincon, Oscar Vargas, Alfredo
Gonzalez, Jesus Finol, Antonio "Yiyo" Osorio, Luis "Coromboro" Sosa,
Esteban Ayala, Julio Cardona, Julio C. Oyuela an Karim Quibir.
Benavides fought in countries as Colombia, Mexico,
Spain and USA.
