Rincon and Perez added to Card

(AUG 3) An outstanding welterweight showdown has been added to CHICAGO SUPERSTARS as Francisco Rincon of Dallas, Texas will battle Chicago KO artist Luciano “EL MICHICANO” Perez in a scheduled eight round bout, it was announced today by Dominic Pesoli, President of 8 Count Productions.

CHICAGO SUPERSTARS is another installment of world class professional boxing presented by 8 Count Productions, HOME OF THE BEST IN CHICAGO BOXING set for Friday night, August 25th at the Aragon Ballroom presented with Miller Lite and TCF Bank.

The fully air conditioned Aragon Ballroom is located at 1106 W. Lawrence Avenue on the north side of Chicago. Doors for this event will open at 7pm; with the first bell scheduled for 8pm. Tickets starting at $25 are available in advance by calling 312-226-5800.

Rincon, 11-3 (6KO’s) is returning to the 8 Count Productions ring after a fourth round
stoppage of Gilbert Venegas on March 17th at the Aragon Ballroom.

Perez, 13-4-1 (12KO’s) is looking to get back in the win column after his battle with
Calvin Odom was stopped in the 7th round on April 27th at the San Manuel Casino in Highland, California. The stoppage was due to a large cut suffered by Perez in an earlier round.
