FIREWORKS WILL FLY AND EXPLODE FOR “INDEPENDENCE”

MERRILLVILLE, IN.- June 13 - Jimmy “The Fighting Schoolteacher” Holmes will put his IN.B.A. State Middleweight Title on the line as Octavius James/One In A Million Inc. returns to the Radisson Hotel at Star Plaza in Merrillville, IN for “Independence,” the next action-packed card, on July 14, 2006.

Tickets are on sale now starting at just $25, doors open at 7 p.m. and the action launches at 8 p.m. with the first bout. Tickets are available at the Star Plaza Box Office 219-769-6600 or through any Ticket Master location 312-559-1212 or www.ticketmaster.com

Holmes (13-0-1, 7 KO's) will headline a card filled with local favorites, including CO-Main event fighter Ruben “The Modern Day Warrior” Galvan (25-9-2, 9 KO's), a fighter with deep talent and extensive ring experience, including several internationally televised bouts.

“Independence” promises the same kind of bell-to-bell action that has become One In A Million's trademark, said Jack “Kid” Callahan.

“Our fans look to us because they demand tough guys like Jimmy and Ruben, and ‘Independence’ is going to give them more of what they've always asked for,” Callahan said.

“Independence” will also feature crowd favorites “Marvelous” Shay Mobley (14-6-1, 6 KO's), a Chicago Middleweight, and Gary's own Jermaine “Too Sweet” White (13-1, 6 KO's), fresh from a Light Welterweight bout televised on Showtime, and “Superman” Derrick Findley (4-1, 3 KO's), an up-and-coming Middleweight.

Another area fighting superstar, Johnny “Kid One In A Million” Novak (17-1, 6 KO's), returns to the ring after his first 10-round bout last month at Resorts Casino East Chicago.
