Acclaimed Artist Puts Corrales and Castillo on the Canvas! One More Time unveiled to celebrate the upcoming rematch

Las Vegas (Sept 15, 2005) - Multi-award winning artist Richard T. Slone has unveiled his latest painting. Slone rendered the Diego Corrales vs. Jose Luis Castillo painting to celebrate their upcoming rematch, which will take place on Saturday, October 8th, at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“After seeing Corrales and Castillo fight their first battle earlier this year - which was one of the greatest fights I’ve ever seen - I was instantly inspired by these two warriors” said Slone, “When the rematch was announced I began painting. Both Boxers fight with such passion and determination, that’s what I want to bring out in through my painting.”

The 24 x 36 inch “One More Time” acrylic and enamel painting captures two men at their professional and personal best, Slone’s placement of color and shapes make a loud statement.

Richard T. Slone has been hailed as the next great artist. His work is widely collected by art collectors and high-society. Owners of his originals include Donald Trump, Nelson Mandela, Hugh Hefner and Muhammad Ali. He is the official artist of the International Boxing Hall of Fame and at only 31 years of age is one of the most accomplished emerging artist’s in the world. Slone recently inked a deal with the The Ultimate Fighting Championship® brand and became their officially licensed artist.
