"Baby" Joe Mesi special Thursday night guest

WOBURN, Mass. (July 18, 2005) - Expansion into Rhode Island and Connecticut has transformed the New England Ringside Radio Show into the NER Radio Network, the most frequently aired boxing show in the world with broadcasts six nights a week.

The original Thursday night two-hour New England Ringside Boxing Radio Show - hosted by Ted Bodenrader, Anthony Pepe, Rick Brutti and Joe Bills - airs between 6-8 PM/ET on Boston's Boxing Station, The Zone (1510 AM). This week's special guest is "Baby" Joe Mesi (29-0, 25 KOs), the unbeaten heavyweight who hasn't been able to fight because the Nevada State Athletic Commission has suspended him due to a subdural hematoma (bleeding on the brain) suffered in last year's fight against Vassily Jirov. Mesi will talk about this controversial decision and his fight plans. Also on Thursday's show is Showtime Network commentator Nick Charles.
