  NER radio expands into Conn.
Thursday night guests Jermain Taylor & Wayne McCullough

WOBURN, Mass. (July 5, 2005) - The thrice-weekly New England Ringside Radio Show, effective this week, expands into Connecticut on WXTC 990AM in Hartford, New England Ringside president Rick Brutti announced today.

"Our expansion continues throughout New England with bases in Boston, Providence and now Connecticut," Brutti said. "Our Thursday, Friday and Saturday night show will be simulcast on WXTC starting this week. We're excited about moving into a hot bed for boxing like Connecticut, home of legendary Willie Pep, former world champion Marlon Starling and so many other great fighters."

Thursday night's two-hour New England Ringside Boxing Radio Show - hosted by Ted Bodenrader, Anthony Pepe, Rick Brutti and Joe Bills - airs between 6-8 PM/ET on Boston's Boxing Station, The Zone (1510 AM). This week's special guests are unbeaten middleweight title contender Jermain "Bad Intentions" Taylor (23-0, 17 KOs) and former WBC bantamweight champion Wayne "Pocket Rocket" McCullough (27-5, 18 KOs).

Taylor challenges undisputed middleweight champion Bernard "The Executioner" Hopkins (46-2-1, 32 KOs) in the July 16 PPV main event from The MGM Grand in Las Vegas. In the co-feature, McCullough faces WBC super bantamweight title-holder Oscar Larios (55-3-1, 35 KOs) in their much-anticipated rematch.

Friday evening's show is broadcast from 7-9 PM on The Drive (1320) in Providence. Saturday night's show, broadcast weekly between 7-9 PM/ET, is co-hosted by NER's Bill Skog and "Dynamite" Danny Sheehan.

The Thursday and Saturday evening shows also will be simulcast on 1320 The Drive. WXTC will simulcast all three weekly radio shows.
