LOS ANGELES, May 2-Saturday, July 16 will see the dawn of a new era in
middleweight boxing history when 2000 US Olympic Bronze Medalist and
undefeated professional Jermain "Bad Intentions" Taylor (23-0, 17 KOs)
challenges for his first world title against undisputed champion Bernard
"The Executioner" Hopkins (46-2-1, 32 KOs) in an HBO
Pay-Per-View-televised bout at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Both Taylor
and Hopkins will be in attendance at press conferences this week in New
York on Tuesday, May 3 and Los Angeles on Wednesday, May 4 to officially
announce this historic matchup, which is one of the most highly
anticipated middleweight championship bouts in years. See below for more
