(DEC 20) Before last night's battle against Jean Marc Mormeck, Vinny Maddalone had promised to turn in an exciting and entertaining performance. After eight hard fought rounds not many people could argue against his statement. Maddalone took the fight straight to the former two-time cruiserweight champion. The fight, which took place at the Halle Carpentier in Mormeck's native Paris, France, had the packed house in attendance on the edge of their seats for the majority of the contest. In the end Mormeck was the winner on the judges score cards,77-75, 79-75, 79-73, but the warrior Maddalone, won over many of the fans.
